How Do I Zip Files With Pkzip?
PKZIP lets you compress not only files to make them smaller in size, but also folders. The utility, originally for MS-DOS systems, is part of the PKWARE series of programs which also includes PKUNZIP---a program that extracts files compressed by PKZIP. PKZIP quickly compacts files and folders so you can store them on your computer, email or save the compressed files/folders on a floppy disc or CD/DVD. PKZIP for Windows uses a menu-based system instead of the DOS command line.
