How to Remove Logitech Drivers

By Kefa Olang

Logitech is a multimedia company that supplies webcams, speakers, wireless optical mice and keyboards. Most of these devices come with installation discs to install program software and drivers that allow them to communicate with the computer to perform the desired function. Logitech drivers, like most drivers, get corrupted from system changes and updates and must be removed completely before reinstalling them. This involves not just uninstalling the drivers, but removing left-over values from your computer system.

Click the Windows "Start" button and click the "Control Panel."

Double-click "Add or Remove Programs." This will bring you to the programs window.

Scroll through and locate any Logitech devices you want to remove. Click "Remove/Uninstall." Click "Yes" to confirm and uninstall the device drivers.

Double-click "My Computer" on the desktop and double-click the C: drive. Double-click "Program Files." Right-click the "Logitech" folder and delete it.

Removing Logitech Driver Components from the Registry

Download CCleaner free (See Resources). Install it on your computer.

Launch your program and click "Registry" on the left panel. Click "Scan for issues." When the scan is complete, you will see all the left-over Logitech driver components.

Click "Fix Selected Issues." Click "Yes" to save and back up changes to your registry. Click "Fix All Selected Issues." Click "OK" to remove all the left-over registry values.
