Instructions

    • 1

Plug in your electric griddle, or place your traditional griddle over a burner. You can purchase griddles from most kitchen supply stores.

    • 2

Add cooking oil or butter to the surface of the griddle once it heats up. This will keep the food from sticking, and add some additional flavor.

    • 3

Place the food on the griddle. You want to keep the griddle hot. The food will take longer to cook on a cool griddle.

    • 4

Flip the food every few minutes. The food will absorb the butter or oil so it must be moved every once in a while to prevent sticking. It may take some practice before you figure out how long it takes for your food to cook on one side.
