Choose the Createx Airbrush Paint you want to use for your specific project. You can choose from primary colors, such as red, blue, yellow, green, black and white, or pastel colors that are fluorescent or opaque.
-
2
Purchase your airbrush equipment that is appropriate for your project. Createxcolors.com states that its paint works best with a 0.5-mm tip-sized airbrush operated at 40 to 50 pounds per square inch, or PSI. You can find this specific type of airbrush at your local arts supply store.

Decide the surface you will airbrush on. According to Dickblick.com, Createx Airbrush Paint can be used on multiple surfaces, including plastic, metal, wood, fingernails, paper, clay, canvas and fabric.
-
4
Use the Createx Color Chart to determine the different colors you can combine. The color chart is included with the airbrushing kit. With the Createx Color Chart, you can learn which two colors can make one new color. For example, if you mix red and yellow, you can make orange.

5
Plug in the airbrush and air compressor. Press the trigger on the airbrush to make sure the air sprays freely. Add two or three drops of Createx Airbrush Paint into the cup that is attached to the airbrush. When airbrushing a surface, move the airbrush in a side-to-side motion to apply paint evenly. For a darker color, let the first coat dry and then add a second coat.

6
Use the Createx Airbrush Cleaner to clean your airbrush after use. Add two or three drops of the cleaning solution into the cup attached to the airbrush and press the trigger to spray. Pressing the trigger will spray out the old paint while cleaning the airbrush. Createx Airbrush Cleaner can be purchased at your nearest art supply store.
