How to Set a Computer Background

You can make this picture your desktop background.

The background picture on the desktop of your computer reflects your personality. It is possible to use any kind of picture for a desktop background, not only the pictures that already come with your computer (default pictures). You can even make a picture that you see online your desktop background with the click of a button.

Instructions

Using a Picture on your Computer

1. Open the "My Pictures" folder, or whatever folder that the picture you want as a desktop background is stored.

2. Locate the picture and right-click it.

3. Click on "Set as Desktop Background", which is in the right-click menu. The picture will now appear on your desktop.

Using a Picture from the Internet

1. Locate the web page that has the picture that you want to set as your desktop background.

2. Right-click the picture and select "Set as Desktop Background" (Mozilla Firefox) or "Set as Background" if you are using Internet Explorer.

3. Go to the desktop of your computer. The picture should now be your desktop background.
