How to Buy Microsoft Zune Points & a Zune Card
Microsoft points allow you to purchase music and videos to be used on your Zune player or software and also to use for Xbox Live. Points can be purchased through the official Zune website or by using the Zune software. When purchasing the points online, you can use your credit card or debit card to receive as many points as you'd like. Another way to get Microsoft points is buy purchasing a prepaid Zune points card from a participating retail store.

Purchase a Zune card from any retail store, where they are most often found near checkout registers. Be sure to purchase the card with enough points that you want to use as the Zune cards vary in the amount of points.

Go to the Zune website and log into your account (see Resources). Click on the "Settings" option. Click on the "Account" option and then click on the "Redeem Code" option.

Type in the 25-digit code found on the back of your prepaid Zune card and then click on the "Redeem" button. The Microsoft points will now be added to your account.

Purchase more Microsoft points directly through your account by clicking on the "My Account" option when signed to the Zune website. Click on the "Buy Points" option, and then you will then prompted with options to buy points. Enter your credit card information and then click on the "Purchase" option.

Open the Zune software on your computer to purchase Microsoft point through the application. Click on the "Settings" option and then click on the "Account" option. Click on the "Buy Microsoft Point" button and follow the instructions to complete the purchasing process.
