How to Create IOU Coupons
Although it is not an ideal situation, many retail stores sometimes run out of products that they have on sale. A good policy is to offer the customer an IOU when this happens so that they can take advantage of the sale price when the product is restocked. Of course, this IOU should be in writing. It is very helpful to have preprinted IOU coupons that the store staff can fill out with the details of the IOU.
