How to Troubleshoot the Outlook 2007 Calendar

Microsoft Outlook is an email client designed for the Windows operating system. Its main functions are the sending, receiving, and storage of email messages. Outlook also includes a calendar and meeting scheduling functions. At times, you may find your Outlook calendar doesn't do exactly what you want it to. You can troubleshoot your problem using Microsoft's help resources.

Instructions

1. Open Microsoft Outlook. Open the built-in Help menu by clicking “Help" and then "Microsoft Office Outlook Help.” This menu contains a comprehensive list of frequent problems and their solutions. Search for your problem using the "Search" field. You can enter a specific error message or type the word “Calendar” to view all topics having to do with the calendar function. Follow the steps given to rectify your issue.

2. Check out the Microsoft Online support center. Scroll through the list of recently reported issues to see if your problem is listed, or enter a query in the "Search" box. Select the link that best describes your problem and click it to display a more detailed description, including symptoms and solutions.

3. Try the new Microsoft Answers forum, which lets users of Microsoft products post queries that can be answered by other users in the Microsoft community. Search the forums by entering a query in the “Search Forums” field. If no existing thread answers your question, you can post a new question by clicking the “Ask a Question” link at the top of the page. Fill out the form provided. You will receive an email notification when someone has provided an answer.
