How to Connect Wireless Speakers to a Stereo With No Audio in Jack thumbnail
Wireless speakers allow more freedom of speaker placement for your home audio system.

Having a home stereo system is a great way to enjoy your favorite forms of entertainment, such as movies, music, sports and video games. Adding wireless speakers to your home audio setup removes unsightly speaker wires and their safety hazard. If you have a set of wireless speakers you want to connect, but don't have an audio-in jack, you can still connect them to your system.

Things You'll Need

Instructions

    • 1

Set up the wireless speakers around the room where you think they'll sound and fit best. Make sure to place the left one on the left and the right one on the right.

    • 2

Plug the jack on the end of the wireless transmitter unit into the RCA to 1/8 adapter. The RCA cord is a red and white tipped jack that usually plugs into a stereo's audio-in or -out jack.

    • 3

Plug the end of the adapter into the headphone jack on your stereo system. The headphone output will send the exact same stereo signal as an audio-in jack would send.
