How to Find a Meeting Website
Technology has changed the way people meet. For business, it has become increasingly popular to turn to websites that specialize in hosting meetings, either online or off. There are meeting websites that allow you to conduct meetings via webcam and teleconference or host webinars and online chat sessions. There are also many free alternative meeting websites.

How to Find a Meeting Website
-
1
Decide what kind of meeting you want to have. If you're hosting a webinar, you want to use a meeting website that has served such clients. Try meeting websites like Acteva and 800RollCall (see References for links). If you're having your meeting via webcam, find a meeting website that has a large number of such clients. Meeting websites like Webex and Megameeting can help you do this (see References for links).

2
Decide which meeting websites you would like to know more about. GoToMeeting is a popular site that allows its users to host teleconferences, webinars and meetings via webcam (see Resources for links). GoToMeeting offers a free trial, but does charge a monthly fee for service thereafter. There are free alternatives, however. Meeting websites such as Yugma, Yakkle and Vyew are free and offer good service. Yugma, Yakkle and Vyew each provide hosting service for webinars, teleconferencing and webcam meetings (see Resources for links).

Find out what other people have to say about the meeting website you would like to use. Go on Yelp, ePinions or ConsumerSearch to find out what others are saying about the meeting website you would like to use. Do your research thoroughly before signing up with a meeting website.
