How Do I Silence Blocked-Number Cell Calls?

Unwanted calls can be silenced.

Being interrupted by your cell phone when you're having an important face-to-face conversation is frustrating, and it becomes even more so when you see that the call is coming from an "Unknown Number." Often, these calls turn out to be from telemarketers. With a little ingenuity, you can silence many of these unwanted calls.

Instructions

1. Make a new contact list in your phone's address book and title it "Blocked Numbers."

2. Add any phone calls from telemarketers, wrong numbers or just nuisances to this "Blocked Numbers" contact list.

3. Change the ring tone on your "Blocked Numbers" contact list to "Silent." Any call from a number on that list will now be silenced.
