How to Find Viruses in a Windows Search
Most viruses can be found and removed by running an antivirus program. However, if you know the name of the virus that has infected your computer, you can find and remove it through Windows Search. This is often referred to as "manually removing" a virus. Windows Search is available on all Windows Operating Systems. It is, however, desirable to run an antivirus program in addition to manually removing a virus. This will help ensure that you have removed all components of the virus.
