How to View Incredimail in Yahoo

Email is an easy way to keep in touch with friends and family, especially when you all live busy lives. If you use multiple email accounts, including a Yahoo! account, and want to keep all of your mail in a central location, adding your Yahoo! account to Incredimail can help you keep your communications more organized. With POP integration added to your Yahoo! account, you can rid yourself of the Yahoo! Web interface and keep track of your email all in one place.

Instructions

1. Click the "Tools" menu in your Incredimail application window. Select "Accounts" from the "Tools" menu and click the "Add" button.

2. Select the "Let me Configure Settings Myself" in the dialog box. Enter your name and your Yahoo! email address in the text entry fields provided. Click the "Next" button.

3. Enter "POP.mail.yahoo.com" in the incoming mail server input field and "smtp.mail.yahoo.com" in the outgoing server input field. Click the "Next" button.

4. Type your Yahoo! user name in the input field labeled "User Name." Your Yahoo! user name is your email address without the "@yahoo.com" extension. Enter your Yahoo! account password in the "Password" field.

5. Click the "Finish" button. Click "OK" on the final screen and confirm that the new account appears properly in the email account list that displays.

6. Highlight your Yahoo! mail account in the list of available accounts within your Incredimail application. Click the "Properties" button. Click the "Servers" tab.

7. Click the check box labeled "My SMTP server requires authentication" and click the "Settings" button. Select "Use the same settings as my incoming server" and click "OK" to save the settings.
