An ISO image file is like an exact digital copy of a physical disc that can be transferred to another disc and used in the same way. ISOs can be, among other things, backups of your movie collection, installation discs or boot discs. Burning the image file to a DVD is quite simple using the Roxio DVD authoring suite.
