How to Remove an Alternator on a CRX
Removing the alternator from your Honda CR-X allows you to have it bench tested if you suspect there is a problem with it. The alternator on the CR-X is located on the driver's side of the engine just in front of the oil filter. The alternator uses a single V-belt driven off the crankshaft to drive it and produce more than enough electricity to power all of the accessories in your CR-X while keeping the battery charged. The alternator on the CR-X uses an internal voltage regulator to manage the current being generated in it.
