Things You’ll Need:
Step1
Bring your needle up through to the right side of the fabric at point 1.
Step2
Twist the thread once around the needle. Hold the needle and thread firmly, but not too tightly.
Step3
Insert the needle back into the fabric in the same spot, point 1, or right next to point 1. Pull the thread through the fabric.

on 2/1/2006 Don't let the loops around the needle go through with your needle. If you're having difficultly, secure the loops down with a thumbnail to prevent the needle from pulling it through the fabric. Try to get the loops as close to the fabric as possible, and just let the rest of the thread pull through to knot the loops.
