How to Download Drivers From a Zip Drive
A zip drive looks similar to a thick floppy disk drive, however, instead of having a little more than one megabyte of storage space, a zip disk can store over 100 megabytes, depending on the kind of disk you are using. You can use zip disks to save any content to and even upload just about any kind of file. This includes the ability to install drivers onto your computer from the zip drive.

1
Insert the zip disk with the installed drivers into the zip drive of your computer.
-
2
Click "Start," followed by "My Computer" and double-click the zip drive icon. A window will appear with all of the files currently installed on the disk.
-
-
3
Double-click the driver icon and in a moment a driver installation wizard will load onto the computer screen.
-
4
Click "Next," then follow the set of prompts the wizard provides. Keep these prompts as the default settings. Sometimes, changing the settings results in the computer being unable to detect the driver.
-
5
Select "Install" and the driver will install onto your computer from the zip disk drive.
