Adjust the volume on your ViewSonic LCD

ViewSonic® is a manufacturer and reseller of computer and electronic products. One product the company sells is the LCD TV. In addition to the clarity of a LCD screen, ViewSonic's LCD comes with many unique features. One of these features is the ability to automatically set and control volume. That is, the LCD will automatically adjust volume. The way the LCD does this is preset, so you can't change the programming, but you can adjust the command to on or off status. Turning the feature off means you must control the volume manually.

Instructions

    • 1

Switch to TV mode (if not already in it). Press "TV" on the remote. This will allow you to swap between TV mode and another output source.

    • 2

Access the OSD menu to adjust volume and audio settings by using your remote control or menu buttons on the front panel of the LCD TV. Press "Menu," and then "-----" to rotate through the menus. Use "----" to move up and down on the volume menu and "-----" to adjust the settings once in the menu.

    • 3

Select AVC (automatic volume control circuitry) "Off" or "On."

    • 4

Enter "Menu" to exit from the volume screen and "Menu" again to exit the OSD menu.
