How to Enable CrossFire on the Asus Crosshair Motherboard
As an answer to Nvidia's SLI (Scalable Link Interface), multi-GPU architecture, ATI Technologies released the ATI CrossFire specification. CrossFire is a multi-GPU graphics solution that allows multiple graphics cards to be installed on a single motherboard, such as the ASUS Crosshair motherboard, to provide for near-linear efficiency increases in graphics rendering.

Right-click anywhere on the Windows desktop and select "ATI Catalyst Control Center" from the context menu that appears.

Select the "Advanced" option from the main program window that appears and click the "Next" button.

Click the "Graphics Settings" tab located along the upper portion of the program window.

Click the "CrossFire" heading in the left-most pane of the program window.

Select the "Enable CrossFire" option in the middle pane of the program window.

Click the "Apply" button located in the lower right corner of the program window.

Close the "ATI Catalyst Control Center" window.

Tips & Warnings
Restarting is not necessary to complete the process.
