How to Download Music With Nero
Nero Burning ROM is a powerful CD- and DVD-writing software package designed to make the enjoyment of your music and video library a simple and straightforward task. But the software does more than simply output music and video CDs and DVDs. Nero Burning ROM can be used to download music from your favorite CDs to your computer, so that you can listen while you work or play games.

Open Nero Burning ROM from your Start menu. When the program opens, select "Save Tracks" to open the "Rip Audio CD" dialog box.

Insert an audio CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive. Nero should recognize that a CD has been inserted and close the "Insert Audio CD" dialog automatically.

Select the drive that contains the Audio CD from the "Source Drive" menu. A list of tracks will be displayed in the free space below. Select "MP3" from the file format drop-down menu.

Click the "Browse..." button next to "Target Directory" and choose a destination for your MP3s. This can be any convenient folder on your hard drive. Click the "Rip" button to transfer the songs from the CD onto your computer in the MP3 format.

Navigate to the directory you selected as the "Target Directory" and open the MP3 files in your preferred music player and organizer. Play each song in succession to be sure that they were transfered without flaw.
