How Do I Get an Update for Windows 2000 Professional?
All computer operating systems are regularly updated to refine their performance and hardware interface or to close security holes and resolve system bugs. You can either download and install Windows updates yourself, as described below, or set your Windows Professional operating system to do so automatically through the Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2). If you wish to set your Windows computer to update automatically, download and install the June 2002 Automatic Update utility update linked to in the resources section of this article.
