How to Change the Runescape Font
There are two types of font customization for "RuneScape" players to use. Font changes are purely cosmetic but can help your message stand out in busy areas like the Grand Exchange. The color of the font can be set to one of six solid colors, and there are five different text animations available. The color selections must always be placed before the animation selection or else the color selection will be ignored.

1
Log into your "RuneScape" account and pick red, yellow, green, purple, cyan or white as your new font color. If you want the colors to switch, the options are flash1, flash2, flash3, glow1, glow2 or glow3. Follow the name of the color with a colon.
-
2
Choose one of the text animation styles labeled wave, wave2, shake, scroll or slide. Wave makes the letters move up and down in a waving pattern before they settle to their normal position. Scroll and slide move the letters downwards and sideways after a brief pause in the standard position. Follow this selection by a colon also.

3
Type the text immediately after the colon. If you place a space after the colon the name of the color will be included with the text and the color will not actually change. For example, if you type "white:scroll:Hi," the word "Hi" will scroll by in a white font.
