Turn on the Audiovox 6700 phone with the power key on top of the phone.

Tap the "Start" menu and select "Settings."

Select "Personal Tab" in the "Settings" menu and select "Phone" and then "Phone Tab."

Select "Text message alert" in the "Phone Tab" options and select the tone you would like to use by clicking on it and selecting "OK." Your text messages will now be received with the ringtone that was just selected.
