The McAfee Security Center program features a firewall that can block incoming and outgoing connections for programs like the Windows Remote Desktop Program (RDP). RDP allows users to remotely connect to computers and control them as though they are physically sitting in front of them. If you want to allow RDP through the McAfee Security Center, you can do so easily with basic computer skills.

Open the McAfee Security center, click on the "Internet & Network" section and then click on the "Configure" link.

Click on the "Firewall protection is enabled" section and then click on the "Advanced" button.

Click the link titled "Program Permissions" and then look for the program titled "Remote Desktop" in the program list. Select the program and then click the "Grant Full Access" action under the "Actions" section.

Click the "Apply" button and then click "OK" to close the window and finish allowing RDP through McAfee Security Center.
