Internet browsers allow users to navigate the Internet.

Web pages are run by Internet browsers, one of the most popular being Internet Explorer. Web pages allow you to navigate different areas of the Internet by searching for terms or typing Web addresses in the address bar. When opening a Web page, it is maximized until the settings are changed by the user. If you dragged the corner of the window to a smaller size, Internet Explorer will remember that size setting. To change Web pages back to automatically opening maximized, change a setting in the Properties menu.

Instructions

    • 1

Right-click on the Internet Explorer icon on your desk top and click "Properties."

    • 2

Select the drop-down menu that says "Run."

    • 3

      Select "Maximized." Close the window.

Tips & Warnings

  • Another method is to open the Internet Explorer window, drag the corners of the window so that it takes up the whole screen, then go to "File" and hit "Close." When you open a new window, it will be the maximum size.

  • If you want the browser to be full screen, hit "F11."
