Instructions

1
Measure the width of your baseball cap's bill. The typical length is 3 to 4 inches.
-
2
Draw a line with your magic marker on the front of your headband. Make the line the same length as the measurement you took of the width of your ball cap's bill.
-
-
3
Cut an opening in only the front of the headband, using the marker's line as your guide. When you have made the cut, try pushing the bill of your ball cap through the opening. If it does not fit, use the X-Acto knife and make the opening bigger. Keep adjusting until the fit is nice and snug.
-
4
Place the hat on your head and pull the headband down over your ears. Make sure the fit is snug and that your ears are covered.
-
5
Look at yourself in the mirror. If the logo on your ball cap is not entirely visible, notch the top of your headband with the X-Acto knife until the logo is visible.

Tips & Warnings
Choose a headband that matches the color of your baseball cap, or at least a color that complements it.
Be sure to cut through the back of the headband when you are cutting the opening in the front. Consider placing a bit of cardboard between the two when you are making the opening.
