How to Save Changes to the Video Settings in Windows Media Center

Windows Media Center allows users to customize their video viewing experience.

Windows Media Center is a program created by Microsoft and included in Windows 7 and Windows Vista. Windows Media Center allows users to watch Internet TV shows and movies, turn their PC into a broadcast TV, record shows on their PC, view home movies, and listen to Internet radio stations. In addition, Windows Media Center allows users to customize and save their video settings.

Instructions

1. Open Windows Media Center.

2. Scroll down the list of options and click on "Tasks."

3. Click on "Settings."

4. Select "General," and then select "Windows Media Center Setup."

5. Select "Configure Your TV or Monitor." This opens the Display Configuration Wizard.

6. Answer the various configuration questions when prompted. After every question you answer, click "Next" on the bottom of the screen. Your video settings will be saved automatically as you proceed.
