Things You'll Need

• Dish soap
• Coarse brush
• Rags
• 80 to 120 grit sandpaper
• Pumice stone
• Tack cloth

Enhancing Eggshell Paint Sheen

1. Clean any dirt or sticky areas from the surface using dish soap and a rag. Rinse the soap away with a damp rag.

2. Lightly sand the surface with pumice stone.

3. Wipe down the surface with a tack cloth.

Preparing for a Fresh Coat of Paint

1. Clean any dirt or sticky areas from the surface using dish soap and a coarse brush. Rinse the soap away with a damp rag.

2. Peel away any loose or peeling eggshell paint using your fingers.

3. Smooth any remaining loose or peeling eggshell paint by sanding it with 80 to 120 grit sandpaper.
