Set Up Account and Download Mobile Application

Establish a PayPal account before downloading the mobile application. Access the PayPal home page and click the "Getting Started" link from the list on the left side of the page. Click "Sign Up," enter required personal information and set up an account password.

Link a financial account to the PayPal account. You can link a checking account, credit card, or a prepaid debit card to do remittances via your PayPal account. Link just one type of account or link all three if you prefer. To link a financial account, enter information such as account number, routing number, and the name on the account. PayPal will verify the information you enter and send a confirmation to your email address.
