How to Determine the Date an Attachment Was Added to an Email

Most email clients allow you to send files as an email attachment to the email recipient. You can attach different types of files such as DOC, PDF, MP3, DAT, XLS, JPEG, MPEG and BMP. The maximum number of files that you can attach to a single email and their size varies from one email client to another. These files may be scanned for viruses before being attached to the email. The attached files and the email to which it is attached have a common date: The date on which the email is to be or was sent. This date is automatically set by the email client and cannot be changed.
