How to Take High Resolution Pictures on a Sony DSC-F828

The Sony DSC-F828 digital camera supports several different resolution settings you can use for taking pictures. The quality of your photographs increases as you increase the resolution settings. Additionally, you can print larger-sized photographs at good quality compared to the lower resolution options. If you want high-quality photographs, adjust the camera setting to a higher resolution.

Instructions

1. Turn the "Mode" dial to the symbol of the camera.

2. Press the "Menu" button to bring up the main menu and select "Image Size" with the right or left arrow buttons. The image resolution options will appear on the screen.

3. Choose the resolution you want with the up and down arrow buttons. The highest resolution is "8M," which is 3,264 by 2,448. The lowest resolution available is "VGA," which is 640 by 480. Each step up in resolution is higher than the last.

4. Press the "Menu" button when the resolution you want is highlighted.

5. Take a picture by pointing the camera at the subject and pressing the shutter button halfway. The camera will automatically focus the shot. Press the shutter button fully to take the photograph at your chosen resolution.
