Call your cell phone provider and tell a representative that you wish to stop receiving text messages from certain numbers. Your provider will walk you through the steps necessary to set up this option.

If your provider is AT&T, dial 611 from your cell phone to request this option. The company's automated system will take you through a series of prompts to turn off incoming text messages and outgoing messages. Sprint also has this feature available to its customers. You must call customer service at 888-211-4727 to activate a block on your text messages.

Until those services are activated and if you're still receiving spam text messages from a business, reply to the unwanted text and type "unsubscribe." This should make the texts stop from this organization.

I am receiving unsolicited paid text messages sended from Mundo Mobile to my phone number through my cell phone service provider (OI company), in Brazil, without any autorization from my part to it. I have tried to block these messages asking my phone service provider to help me stop these unsolicited paid text messages "service" or block the text message sender number (49114) at my phone cell. They (OI) answer me the paid messages I´ve received was due and they didn´t help me to stop them and not informed me an effective command to stop these unsolicited paid text messages coming to my number. I´ve tried many commands to cancel the unsolicited messages "service" but no one worked. I think my cell phone provider (OI) has made an agreement with Mundo Mobile to continue billing me and other cell phone customers to pay for these unsolicited paid text messages, as probably they are...
