How to Use Rolled Oats as a Dog Shampoo
Dog shampoos can be expensive and inefficient. Using rolled oats instead is not only healthier for your dog, it's cheaper. There are a few ways to use oats as shampoo, depending on your dog's needs. Oatmeal Soak

Put a handful of oatmeal into a nylon sock.

Attach the sock to the bath tap.

Turn the water on and fill the tub with warm water.

Soak your dog in the water for 15 to 20 minutes--or until your dog can no longer tolerate it.

Rinse your dog well and let it dry.

Roast some rolled oats in the oven. You'll want to cover your entire dog, so use as much oats as necessary.

Let the oats cool. Once they are at room temperature, massage the oats into your dog's fur and skin.
