How to import videos from iPhoto to iMoive for Mac OS

IPhoto and iMovie are both a part of Apple's iLife suite, which comes standard on all Mac computers. These multimedia applications make it easy to compose and edit video clips on your Mac. You can import videos from iPhoto with the iMovie Event Library panel. This panel allows you to instantly view iPhoto video clips directly in the iMovie program interface, and upload them to your current iMovie project.

Instructions

1. Launch iMovie.

2. Locate the Event Library panel on the left side of the program interface.

3. Click on the "iPhoto Videos" tab under the Event Library section. Your iPhoto videos appear in the Event browser section on the right.

4. Select the iPhoto video you want to use to add it to your iMovie project.
