Instructions

1. The first thing you will need to do in order to verify a Texas GED Certificate online is to gather the following information:

   * The name of the person you are researching (or their name when they took the Texas GED).

   * The person's date of birth.

   or

   * The person's complete name at the time they took the Texas GED exam.
   * The person's date of Birth

2. Once you have secured the above information pertaining to the person who took and passed the Texas GED, you will need to access the GED Certificate Search page from the Texas Education Agency. You can find a link to the proper page beneath this article.

3. Once you enter either combination of the two pieces of information reflected in step one, you can hit "SEARCH" and the record will appear.

   The Texas GED Certificate verification information is only kept for people who have passed the exam since 1994, and the tool will only reveal whether or not the person holds a Texas GED Diploma. No information regarding test scores will be provided.
