How to Create Stationery With Outlook 2007

Stationery, such as a greeting card, can be created using software from the Microsoft Office 2007 package. Stationery is commonly created using the Word application, but it can be made in Outlook. You can save the stationery as a template for all of the emails you send out or print out the stationery for any other use. When creating your stationery, you also can use another file as a template for how you want your stationery to look.

Instructions

1. Open the Microsoft Outlook 2007 application on your computer. Click the “Tools” option from the top tool bar menu and then click the “Options” option. Click on the “Mail Format” tab in the new pane that appears.

2. Click the “HTML” option in the “Compose in this message format” field. Click the “Stationery Picker” option and then click the “New” option.

3. Type in a name for your stationery in the “Enter a name for your new stationery” field. Scroll through the list of stationery options in the “Choose how to create your stationery” field.

4. Click the “Use this file as a template” box and type in the path and file name of any template file that you want to use as your stationery. You can also click the “Browse” button to locate where the file is.

5. Click the “Next” button and your stationery template will be created. Click inside the stationery and use the stationery tool bar edit any text, borders or pictures in the stationery. Click in the “Pictures” icon to add any pictures.

6. Click the “File” option from the top tool bar menu and then click the “Save” option to save your stationery. Click the “File” option again and click the “Print” option to print your stationery.
