How to Remove Microsoft Windows XP's Validation

Validation notices are popups that appear onscreen at periodic intervals (such as when your operating system first loads), reminding you to register your copy of Windows. This can be a nuisance, especially if you would prefer not to register your personal information with Microsoft. Removing the validation notices from your Windows XP computer requires nothing more than a basic edit of the system registry.
