How to Create a Report With FileMaker Pro
When using Filemaker Pro to find or modify sets of information, you can view the database's contents in several different ways. If you want to customize your view of a Filemaker database, you can create a new report and specify exactly which information you want to see. A Filemaker report generally looks like a spreadsheet table, with field names spread out across the top of the window and related records of data listed underneath them.

Open the Filemaker database that you want to create a new report for.

Go to "View" in the top menu bar and choose the "Layout Mode" option.

Open the "Layouts" menu at the top of the window and select "New Layout/Report."

Use the drop-down menu to select which table of data you want to use for the new report and then enter a name to identify with the report.

Select "List/Report" from the list of layout types and click "Next."

Click the radio button next to "Columnar List/Report" and click "Next" again.

Highlight all the fields of information you want to include in the new layout, press the "Move" button and then click "Next" again.

Choose from one of the many layout themes and color schemes and click "Next."

Leave the rest of the layout options in the default state and then click "Finish" to create the new report.
