How to Make Dinosaurs in Zoo Tycoon
Zoo Tycoon is a fun game series that puts you in charge of a zoo and its success or failure. It plays a lot like a Sim City game but on a much smaller scale. Fans of dinosaurs--or of the classic Jurassic Park--would be excited to learn that you can make your zoo into a dinosaur park by adding a few new exhibits. These exhibits are available only with the Dinosaur Digs expansion pack for the full Zoo Tycoon game.

Install the Dinosaur Digs expansion pack. You will now have installed the game's dinosaurs, but you will have to play the game to get your zoo prepared for the incoming extinct creatures.

Play through the game scenario levels. Complete the first five scenarios, all of which will use the standard Zoo Tycoon set of animals, i.e., animals that are alive today.

Start scenario number 6: The Valley of the Dinosaurs. This level requires that you build eight exhibits containing prehistoric animals of any kind. The game uses the term "dinosaurs" to refer to any prehistoric animals, so that includes creatures such as the Sabre-tooth cat. You can use any dinosaurs that you can afford, but you may find the following the cheapest and easiest to adopt: Camptosaurus, Caudipteryx, Gallimimus, Giant Tortoise, Herrerasaurus, Plateosaurus, Stegosaurus and Triceratops.

Scroll through the available animals, and purchase dinosaurs to put in these exhibits. You may need to clear some space in your zoo by selling off other animals.

Tips & Warnings
You can also unlock all of the dinosaurs in the Dinosaur Digs expansion pack by entering a cheat code. Start by locating a guest, then rename him "Dinoman." When you restart the game, the code will no longer be entered. You can repeat it or continue unlocking dinosaurs through gameplay.
To unlock the final dinosaur, Dienosuchus, build a new exhibit and name it "Super Croc." You can also unlock it by completing the final Dinosaur Digs scenario and answering "No" when prompted.
