If you have a decently in-shape torso, you may not want it covered in hair! The smooth look, popular for many years, gives you the youthful and healthy appearance that you see on the cover of men's magazines. Reality is, however, that the men on those magazines and others you see who are smooth-chested are not naturally that way. They shave, wax, or find other means of hair removal. If you like the look of a smooth chest, then get the razor and let's get started!

It is often easier to use a set of clippers to trim the bulk of the hair. You can buy an inexpensive set at any drug store or discount chain. If you are not sure you want to shave completely, then use the combs on the clippers to take a little off at a time. If you are going to shave smooth, then use no comb or the shortest available. Be sure to do this in a place that is easy to vacuum, because you will make a mess!

After using the clippers (you look better already, don't you!), it is easiest to shave smooth in the shower. Get a fresh razor blade (electric does not work as well) and some good quality shaving cream. Get wet and lather up your entire chest. Begin at the top and work your way down. Take extra care around the nipples...a cut here can be temporarily painful.

Be sure to shave your shoulders and back as well. This is a little more of a challenge, but necessary for a well-groomed torso.

Now that you look great, put on some shorts (wear them low, you should have at least the width of four fingers between your belly button and the top of your shorts) and get outside for a little sun.

It is easy to maintain this look if you keep a razor in the shower. Each day, soap up and give your chest a quick clean-up. It will only take a minute or two and will keep you looking clean, smooth, and young.
