How to Transfer Videos From a PSP to a PS3

Transferring movies from your PSP to your PS3 is a simple process that only takes a few minutes, depending on how large the files are.

Connect your PSP to your PS3 using your USB cable.

Power on your PSP and navigate the XMB (Cross Media Bar) to the "Settings" menu, selecting "USB Connection" from the list of available options.

Navigate your PS3's XMB to the "Video" tab. A series of options will drop down from the tab, including "PSP." Select the "PSP" option.

Select the movies you want to transfer from your PSP to your PS3. Once this is done, press the Triangle button and select "Copy" to move them from your PSP to your PS3.

Tips & Warnings
Some files will not have the best video quality when transferred over. There are third-party software applications for your computer that can prime these files for play on PS3.
Ensure the files you are transferring are supported by the PS3. Otherwise they will not play and will only take up space.
