How to Remove an Amerock Doorknob
Amerock has been making decorative and functional metal knobs, pulls, pendants and latches for kitchen appliances and bathroom and kitchen cabinets since 1929. Unlike regular doorknobs, cabinet knobs don't have a bolt mechanism inserted into the cabinet door or more than one screw holding the knob in place. Things You'll Need
- Screwdriver, flat-head or Phillips (depending on the type of screw used)

Check the screw head in back of the cabinet to see which type of screwdriver you will need.

Insert the appropriate screwdriver into the screw head to keep the screw from turning.

Using your free hand, unscrew the Amerock doorknob. You can use the old screw with the new knob if you so desire .
