How Do I Update My Yahoo Messenger Music?
Yahoo! Messenger integrates automatically with LAUNCHcast, also known as Yahoo! Music. With this integration turned on, songs that you play in Yahoo! Music will be displayed in your status message when you are signed in to Yahoo! Messenger. You can configure Yahoo! Messenger to display the songs that you play on Yahoo! Music to share your tastes in music with your family and friends.

Launch Yahoo! Messenger and sign in. Click the "Messenger" menu at the top of the window, then click "Privacy Options." Confirm that the box next to "Listening to LAUNCHcast Radio in Messenger" is checked, then click "OK."

Click the "Plug-ins" button under the contact list, then click "Add Plug-ins."

Click the "Start" button next to "Yahoo! Music," then close the "Plug-ins Manager" window to return to your contact list.

Click the left-facing arrow next to "Yahoo! Music" on your contact list to expand the plug-in. After you select a radio station, an icon shaped like a wrench will be visible in the expanded window. Click the wrench-shaped icon.

Select the "Artist name - Song title" radio button of the "Artist name - Song title - My song rating" radio button to have your status message change with each new song. Click "OK."

Click "Yes" the first time you are asked if you would like your Yahoo! Messenger status to change to reflect the song that is playing in Yahoo! Music. Future changes will take place automatically.
