How to Get Edit Transform Options in Photoshop CS2
One of the great benefits of using Photoshop is that just about any image, logo or text can be manipulated in all sorts of ways. There are many tools within the program that can altar the appearance of your target. The two most popular and easy to use are the “Free Transform” and “Transform” tools. They allow you to resize, warp and relocate items in your document. A great feature of these tools is that going back and editing what you have done is simple.

Open Photoshop and either create a new document by holding “Ctrl+N," or upload an existing document by holding “Ctrl+O." Select “Layer” then “New” from the top tool bar. Import a new image onto the document by clicking ”File” and then “Place” from the top menu bar. Browse to choose an image from your computer and double click it. This will place it on your document in its own layer. The transform tool will be bordering it. Use the points in the corners and middle to move and resize the image. Click “Enter” to set it.

Transform images with preset options by first selecting the image and then clicking “Edit” from the top tool bar. Scroll to “Transform” and then view the menu that opens. Pick one of the options there. Some may require you to manipulate the image after selecting them, such as “Skew” and “Warp." Manipulate by using the corner and mid-points as with the Free Transform option. Choose one of the rotate options to perform an exact turn. Press “Enter” to lock down the image. Use “Ctrl+S” to save your work. If you make a mistake, hold “Ctrl+Z” to undo the last thing you did.

Tips & Warnings
Work with both the Transform and the Edit Transform as much as you can. Channel those old Geometry classes and think about how each manipulation will work differently on various shapes.
