How to Put Videos on an Eclipse Portable Media Player

Eclipse portable media players allow users to listen to music, view photographs and watch videos while on the go. Since Eclipse media players do not have a web browser built into the device, you cannot download videos directly to the player. You need to transfer video files from your computer to the Eclipse in order to view them. Once transferred, you can view the video files using the player's built-in video player.

Instructions

    • 1

Download the video files you want to place on your Eclipse media player to your computer.

    • 2

Plug the USB cable into the USB jack on the bottom of the Eclipse portable media player and connect the opposite end to a USB jack on your computer.

    • 3

Open "My Computer" on the computer and double click your player's drive. The drive is listed under "Devices with Removable Storage" and is labeled "Removable Disk." A new window will appear on the screen.

    • 4

Drag the video files from your computer into the open window. The amount of time it takes for the video files to transfer depends on the size of the video files. Do not remove the player from the computer until the files are finished downloading.

    • 5

Repeat Step 3 with any remaining video files you want to add to the player.

    • 6

Click the green arrow icon in the Taskbar of your computer when you are finished transferring files and choose "Safely Remove Hardware." When prompted, disconnect the player from the computer.
