How to Set My Ringtones on My Pantech Duo

Pantech Duo cell phones run Windows Mobile and they have the ability to store and use your own sound and music files as ring tones, but first you need to know how to set the ringtones on the phone. The controls of the Duo can be somewhat confusing since it has the two different keyboards, but setting up ringtones is relatively easy. It is very similar to most cell phones despite it being on the Windows Mobile operating system.

Instructions

1. Press the top-left key on the cell phone while on the home screen. This brings up the main menu of the phone.

2. Select "Settings" from the menu and press the "OK" button on the keypad.

3. Select "Sounds" from the next menu and press the "OK" button.

4. Use the left and right keys on the directional pad to scroll through the ringtones for each event on the menu, like calls and text messages. As you scroll through the tones, a preview will play automatically.

5. Press "Done" to save your settings.
