How Do I Change Themes on the Blackberry Curve?

The BlackBerry Curve is one of the latest versions of Research In Motion's popular smartphone; lighter, thinner and packed with more features than the earlier versions of the BlackBerry, the Curve offers business and non-business users alike a powerful tool to access the internet, email messages, games and applications. One of the many options on the Curve is the ability to change the appearance of the home screen and program icons, the BlackBerry's theme, with a variety of pre-loaded themes. Changing themes on the BlackBerry Curve is easy.

Instructions

1. Go to your BlackBerry Curve's home screen. Highlight and click the "Settings" folder. You should see icons labeled Alarm, Screen/Keyboard, Mobile Network and Options.

2. Scroll to the "Options" icon, highlight it and click it. You should see a list of options for the BlackBerry Curve, ranging from language and security options to spell check, date and time settings. Scroll down the list and click on "Theme".

3. Scroll down the list of optional themes available on your BlackBerry Curve. As you scroll through each item on the list, you should see a miniature screenshot of the theme so you can see how it will look on your BlackBerry.

4. Highlight and click on your desired theme. There will be a brief pause while your BlackBerry Curve adjusts the theme it then returns you to the "Options" list.
