How to Stop Printing Reports on the HP DeskJet F2180 Printer
The Hewlett-Packard name has long been associated with printers and printing products, and the DeskJet line is a particular favorite with both home and office users. For the most part, these printers provide excellent service, but there are times printer owners will need to stop a print job in midstream. Knowing how to stop those print jobs eliminates wasted paper and wasted money.

1
Click on your computer's "Start" button and choose "Control Panel" from the menu. Double click the "Printers and Faxes" icon and double click the icon for your HP Deskjet F2180 printer.
-
2
Highlight the job you want to cancel, right-click and choose "Delete" from the menu. This will stop any pages that have not yet been spooled to the printer.

3
Wait for the current page to print, then carefully pull the rest of the paper out of the tray. When the printer runs out of paper the computer will flash up an "Out of paper" warning message. When that warning message appears choose "Cancel Job" to cancel the rest of the print job.

4
Reach behind the printer and pull the power cord. Leave the power cord out of the printer for a minute or two and then plug it back in. This will clear the printer's memory and prevent it from attempting to restart the job.
