1
Clean sap and bird droppings as soon as possible with a nylon brush and water. If the droppings or sap remain on the vinyl, apply the foam cleaner to the area and allow it to sit for a few minutes before scrubbing away. Rinse with clean water and wipe with a clean rag to remove any residue.

2
Wash the top when washing the car. Apply the vinyl cleaner to the top and allow it to sit while you wash the rest of the car. Return to the top when you have finished cleaning the rest of the car. Scrub the top in circular motions across the entire top. Rinse with water and dry with a clean rag. Apply vinyl protectant to the top, allowing it to dry.
