How to Completely Remove Roxio Creator
Roxio Creator is a series of digital video editor and DVD burner software. The software comes in a regular edition and \"Pro\" edition. You may need to completely remove Roxio Creator in order to install a new version of the software or due to problems running the uninstaller. In order to completely uninstall Roxio Creator, you must perform a series of actions, including modifying the registry. Do not perform this task if you are uncomfortable making changes to the registry, and always backup the registry prior to altering it.

Click on \"Start.\" In the \"Start Search\" field, enter \"msconfig.\" Press the \"Enter\" key. In Windows XP, click on \"Start,\" then \"Run.\" Enter \"msconfig.exe,\" and press \"Enter.

Select the \"Startup\" tab.

Click on the \"Disable all\" button.

Click on \"Apply,\" then \"OK.\"

Click \"Start.\" Press the \"Shut Down\" button, and select \"Restart.\"

Open \"Programs and Features\" in Windows Vista or \"Add/Remove Programs\" in Windows XP.

Double-click the \"Roxio Easy Media Creator\" program. Follow the on-screen prompts to uninstall the program. Repeat for each program with \"Roxio\" or \"Sonic\" in the title.

Empty the Recycling Bin by right-clicking on it and selecting \"Empty.\"

Install the \"Windows Installer Clean Up Utility\" if you receive a certificate error while uninstalling any of the Roxio programs.
